Tour Overview
A west–central Uzbekistan adventure weaving through Kyzylkum desert dunes, tranquil Aydarkul & Charvak lakes, and the ancient walls of Khorezm’s desert fortresses. Explore UNESCO old towns (Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand), sleep in a yurt camp, meet artisans, and ride high-speed trains. Balanced pacing with scenic drives and time to wander.
Meet & greet, hotel check-in, evening stroll around Amir Timur Square or the Broadway art street. Included: Transfer, hotel.
Drive over the foothills to Chimgan; short cable car or chairlift (seasonal). Relax by Charvak’s turquoise shore; easy lakeside walk or boat ride (seasonal). Return to Tashkent. Included: Breakfast, transport.

Cross the Kyzylkum again toward Khiva (train when available, or ~6–7h by road). Sunset walk on Ichan-Kala walls. Included: Breakfast, intercity transport.
Drive to the Ellikqala desert plateau: explore Toprak-Kala (capital ruins) and Ayaz-Kala trio of forts—iconic ancient walls in the sands. Continue to Nukus; visit (time-permitting) the Savitsky Art Museum. Evening flight/train/road to Tashkent or overnight in Nukus (per schedule). Included: Breakfast, transport, entries.
